SERVE SANTA MONICA
Renew Justice will be hosting our first Serve Santa Monica event on Saturday, June 14, 2025 from 7:30AM-10:30AM. We have the opportunity to serve a hot, filling breakfast & provide hygiene kits to about 150 people in need right in the heart of Santa Monica. For more information and to sign up, click below.
There are two different shifts you can volunteer for:
Shift 1: 7:00am–9:00am (10 volunteers needed)
Shift 2: 8:45am–10:45am (10 volunteers needed)
Juneteenth Celebration
Juneteenth, celebrated on June 19th, marks the day in 1865 when enslaved African Americans in Galveston, Texas, were finally informed of their freedom—two years after the Emancipation Proclamation.
It’s a powerful reminder of the long journey toward justice and the ongoing call for equality. As followers of Christ, we honor this day by reflecting on the God-given dignity of all people and committing ourselves to the work of reconciliation and freedom.
We also want to celebrate this day of liberation for our Black brothers and sisters with a party on the turf—join us after each service on June 22nd for food and festivities!

Renew Kids Fun Day and Mommy Mixer
Join us Wednesday, July 23rd for a fun-filled day at Renew Church LA! Kids (Preschool–5th grade) are invited for games, activities, and summer fun, while moms can connect at our Mom’s Mixer happening at the same time.
Parents may drop off kids or stay and join the mixer. Lunch, snacks, and fun provided—hope to see you there!
Emotionally Healthy Dating Event Pt. 2
Back by popular demand is Part 2 of our Emotionally Healthy Dating Event. In this event, we will learn how to pursue healthy dating relationships while avoiding pitfalls common to dating relationships. This seminar will teach the why and the how of emotionally healthy dating, as well as how to follow your heart without losing your head.
This seminar is for single, dating, engaged, and anyone who wants to learn about what it means to have a healthy romantic relationship.

**This seminar will be taught from a Christian perspective but is by no means limited to Christians. The curriculum is applicable to people from various backgrounds.

Renew Kids and Youth Celebration Day
Come celebrate the end of the school year and the kickoff to summer at Dave & Buster’s! Students graduating from kindergarten through 12th grade are invited to join Renew Next Generation for a fun-filled day of games and connection. Parents are encouraged to stay with younger elementary students (Kindergarten–2nd grade), while older kids may be dropped off and picked up at the end of the event. Game cards will be provided, and kids are welcome to bring additional money for food or extra games.
Making Disciples Class
Although most Christians are familiar with Jesus' Great Commission to make disciples (Matthew 28:18-20), many find it difficult describing what discipleship is, and have an even more difficult time outlining a practical, Biblical approach to making disciples. Renew exists to make disciples who are renewed by the Gospel and become Gospel renewal to the city, and that's where the Making Disciples Class comes in. In this class we'll be teaching on and discussing the following questions:
1. What is discipleship?
2. Why do we make disciples?
3. How do we make disciples?
4. What is a Discipleship Group at Renew?
5. How do I lead a Discipleship Group?
6. How do I preach the Gospel?
Every disciple, or follower of Jesus, is called to make disciples. Together, let's find out how! To sign up, click below.

Membership At Renew
Are you interested in membership at Renew? Or do you just want to find out what membership means to us?
Membership at Renew means more to us than just adding names to a roster. Membership has similarities to family. Like family, members are aware of major decisions being made that affect everyone. Membership is covenantal. It has expectations that are universally agreed upon. Membership is deeper relationship and care. When someone is a member of a healthy family, they care for one another at a level that acquaintances might not. Membership is spiritual family.

24 hr prayer + Worship
As a church, we are dedicating time and space to seek a fresh outpouring of God's Spirit. We want to seek God for another move of the Holy Spirit in our time. We will be hosting a 24 Hr Prayer + Worship night, starting on May 23rd @7:00pm and going until May 24th @7:00pm (The Fill will kick off our 24-hour prayer and worship time). We’d love for as many of you as possible to jump in and serve with us. Come hungry and expectant for God to move, as this will be a transformative and powerful moment in the life of our church. Victory Weekend
What is Victory Weekend?
The Bible teaches that believers can and should live victorious lives. There is a difference between knowing the truth, believing the truth, and living out the truth. The truth can only be lived out if we understand and apply the freedom, victory, and power that comes from Christ.
Victory Weekend is a time to deepen our relationship with God and focus on establishing the spiritual foundation necessary for a lifelong walk with Him. It includes times of worship, Bible teaching, prayer, and personal ministry to ensure that we understand and walk in the freedom Christ won for us on the cross.
Registration fee is $25.
FRIDAY: 6:00-9:00pm | SATURDAY: 9:00am-1:00pm

Get On The Bus Backpack Supply Drive
The Renew Justice Team will be packing backpacks for Get On The Bus. We have the backpacks but need notebooks, folders, fidget spinners, hand sanitizer, tissues, board games, and face painting kits. You can bring the items to service on Sunday, March 9th, or order them from our Amazon wishlist to be delivered here no later than Friday, March 14th.

Women's Spring Blooms Event
Renew Women's Ministry is hosting a Spring Blooms Event for all our ladies. Together we will make small floral arrangements for your enjoyment and hear from our Women's Ministry team how Jesus makes all things new! All you have to do, is bring a small vase or mason jar (8oz) and we will provide the flowers. We'll also have a light snack. This event will take place on March 1st, from 10am-12pm.
