In Emotionally Healthy Discipleship Course – Part 2, you’ll learn eight practical skills to develop mature, loving relationships with others. These include:

• Stop Mind Reading and Clarify Expectations

• Listen Incarnationally

• Climb the Ladder of Integrity

• Fight Cleanly

Because loving others and loving God cannot be separated, you’ll also grow in your personal, first-hand relationship with Jesus by incorporating stillness, silence, and Scripture as daily life rhythms.

Back by popular demand, Part 1 of the Emotionally Healthy Discipleship Course is now open for registration.

Learn to slow down and grow deep in your relationship with Jesus through this powerful 8-week journey. You’ll explore eight biblical themes designed to help you be deeply transformed by Jesus and make a lasting impact on the world around you.

Topics include:

• Know Yourself That You May Know God

• Enlarge Your Soul Through Grief and Loss

• Discover the Rhythms of the Daily Office and Sabbath

• Grow Into an Emotionally Healthy Adult

You’ll also learn how to develop a Sabbath rhythm—a counter-cultural practice that pushes back against the demands of our 24/7 world.

Juneteenth, celebrated on June 19th, marks the day in 1865 when enslaved African Americans in Galveston, Texas, were finally informed of their freedom—two years after the Emancipation Proclamation.

It’s a powerful reminder of the long journey toward justice and the ongoing call for equality. As followers of Christ, we honor this day by reflecting on the God-given dignity of all people and committing ourselves to the work of reconciliation and freedom.

We also want to celebrate this day of liberation for our Black brothers and sisters with a party on the turf—join us after each service on June 22nd for food and festivities!

Come celebrate the end of the school year and the kickoff to summer at Dave & Buster’s! Students graduating from kindergarten through 12th grade are invited to join Renew Next Generation for a fun-filled day of games and connection. Parents are encouraged to stay with younger elementary students (Kindergarten–2nd grade), while older kids may be dropped off and picked up at the end of the event. Game cards will be provided, and kids are welcome to bring additional money for food or extra games.

Although most Christians are familiar with Jesus' Great Commission to make disciples (Matthew 28:18-20), many find it difficult describing what discipleship is, and have an even more difficult time outlining a practical, Biblical approach to making disciples. Renew exists to make disciples who are renewed by the Gospel and become Gospel renewal to the city, and that's where the Making Disciples Class comes in. In this class we'll be teaching on and discussing the following questions:

1. What is discipleship?

2. Why do we make disciples?

3. How do we make disciples?

4. What is a Discipleship Group at Renew?

5. How do I lead a Discipleship Group?

6. How do I preach the Gospel?

Every disciple, or follower of Jesus, is called to make disciples. Together, let's find out how! To sign up, click below.

Membership is covenantal. It has expectations that are universally agreed upon. Membership is deeper relationship and care. When someone is a member of a healthy family, they care for one another at a level that acquaintances might not. Membership is spiritual family.
